At ABC we value our young adults immensely and aim to ensure every young adult feels valued, supported and a key member of our family. We are intentional about deepening the bonds between the young adults themselves and their relationship with the team so that they know that they are never alone when facing the challenges of becoming more independent and starting university, apprenticeships and work.
Small groups
Below you can find information regarding our small groups particularly for young adults.
Oikos
Join ‘Oikos’, a household of young adults and babies: journeying, studying and praying together in pursuit of a Christ-like life.
The group meet weekly on Wednesdays, 7.30-9pm,
HG9
HG9 is a house group that meet fortnightly at 7.30pm on Thursday evenings at various locations. join this welcoming bunch, with a chill vibe to explore the life-changing power of God’s word
Revels
This is our weekly Bible Study Group for young adults (those living locally and also those who only return for the holidays). We meet at the home of Rich and Jo Stein, fortnightly on Mondays at 7-8.30pm. Join this Young Adult group, in a relaxed evening, to grow deeper in your faith and understanding of God’s word and purpose for your life.
Everyone aged 18-25 is welcome!
Student Support
We also offer a variety of support for our students, from sixth form through to university.

Young Adult Socials
Our 16 – 19 year olds meet together socially once a month. Typically this is in the upper room at the church for a meal followed by games and chat. We will also go out for activities at some points in the year for things such as cinema, bowling, crazy golf etc.

Uni Prep Programme
We offer a programme in the summer prior to students going to university where as a group together we learn things such as cooking skills, budgeting, exploring student discounts and banking options, top tips for surviving university and how to find a church.

University visits
We visit all new students in their first term and support them with a care package from ABC. The student support team will also visit all students who would like to be visited throughout their time at university and we will treat them to coffee and a meal out!

Mentoring/Support
We offer informal mentoring and support for all our young adults.
